I don't have the Serafino but I have recently bought a pair of the Amati Traditions which should be similar. In my setup there is absolutely no top end brightness. I'm extremely happy with the sound in all aspects. I'm using these with a current spec Linn Klimax DSM and Linn Solo amplifiers. These are my first non Linn purchase in over 30 years and moving from Linn 242's.
