Congrats Jack. The C2600/2700 can be a bit tough to find on the used market. With my MC1502 due to arrive any day now I'm in a bit of a quandry on the preamp side of things.
McIntosh tells me that the preamp in my MA8000 is the C50. I'm going to try it out first, but I really had my heart set on a tube preamp.
A friend from my audio club has an AR LS27 for sale, but I'm not sure it's what fits my needs being a pure line stage.
Please let us know your thoughts on the C2600 once you've had some time with it.
