IMHO I wouldn't think the BUC-1 is the right component to put between your Silenzio and a K-03X given how beautifully the K-03X handles DSD.
Alternatives, if you feel so inclined, are the W4S Recovery, Uptone Regen, or JCAT USB Isolator. I'm sure there are others. I have the JCAT product on the way after trying the PS Audio LANRover.
Best bet may be a good USB cable and nothing else between!
