It will provide its best with high end electronics but those with such means will likely pass on it w/o even an audition, and it is too expensive for the majority of those looking to pair it with a mid-fi receiver. However, if the opportunity presents itself a listen to the L100 Classic is sure to challenge preconceptions.

Thanks. I think I'm leaning toward getting a pair of these in the next week or so.
Lots of people seem to like them even if their feedback about them varies - which might make some sense with hearing them in different systems.
