Default New C1100 and passthrough question

Hi all,

I recently moved up from a C2500 to the C1100. My system serves double duty as home theater and 2 channel listening.

On my C2500 for HT passthrough I used a mono trigger cable from my MX122 processor to the C2500 and a stereo trigger from the C2500 to my MC452 amp. This would turn of the meter and tube lights on the C2500 and turn off the meter lights on the MC452 in passthrough mode only.

When I try the same setup on my C1100 to MC452 only the meter lights turn off on the C1100 but not on the 452 amp in passthrough. The tube lights on the C1100 and meter lights on the 452 also stay on.

Does the C1100 not have the same capability or am I doing something wrong? I have tried MAIN, OUT and TRIGGERS with the same results.

I’ve emailed Chuck at Mac but it would be nice to get an answer over the weekend if anyone else knows.

Thanks,
Karl
