Its a Price-Point piece..if one dont like it they can get the MC207(costs more) which i believe gives you the same specs and the meters........personally i rather the traditional meters,but i do understand Mcintosh logic in trying to hit a newer crowd/buyer/owner and in this case it may be a "Homerun"
