I thought I would follow-up my earlier comments since I received a JL Audio F112 subwoofer. I've had the PL500 IIs with an SVS SB16 Ultra and the JL F110. I don't want to exaggerate, but the F112 has added detail and improved the overall sound to a degree that I just don't understand. This hobby is crazy...no matter what I have, occasionally I get a new component that takes me to a new level. I don't think the PL500's are bass deficient, but boy does the F112 make them sound better!

Congratulations! Good to know that the F112 works well in combination with PL500.
Certainly worth to look at it once the PL 500 is in my room.
