Well, I really have nothing more to add to this conversation. The bottom line is still that clipping can and does damage speakers when the conditions are right. Whether one blows the speakers up with a clipping amplifier or with an amplifier with way too much power, the result is the same. Common sense in the first place and a distorted sound as the last warning should be more than enough to prevent such an event. As far as your discussion of power and clipping that goes AGAINST every article, video and my own knowledge, well, what can I say? We will have to agree to disagree.
