They are both sounding marvelous, gap between Ref phono 10 and Ref 2 se is perhaps more prominent compared to Ref 10 preamp vs Ref 5 se. Both Ref 10 pre and ph make everything Ref 5 se and Ref 2 se do better but also bring additional details, harmonics, energy and drama. They solve the complex passages in a way which creates sheer realism almost without constraints. Both Ref 10 units have similar sonic clothing.
