I listen to LPs through a highly modified Linn Sondek LP12. The modifications are by the Funk Firm and include a carbon fiber top plate, a replacement sub chassis, a new motor, an external power supply that can switch between 33.3 and 45, and a 3-pulley mechanism to rotate the platter. I also have a Funk Firm achromat in place of the Linn felt mat. Tone arm is a Rega RB1000 with a Reson Lexe moving coil cartridge (a modified Goldring).
I do not use a step-up transformer yet, although Matt has been offering positive reinforcement to do so. So my cartridge goes straight into my Masseto.
