How does the entry level Accuphase (e-270) compare to comparably priced integrated amps from reputable brands like Simaudio, Ayre, Hegel, etc?

I had a Luxman 505-ux in the past, but it didn't do it for me.

I'm gping to hit 65 in a couple months and am looking to make a final purchase.

Speakers are Dynaudio Focus 110 which I really enjoy. Tastes are about 50% rock/jazz, 50% classical (ensemble, vocal, not much symphonic).

Mike - having owned an E-270 I would wait a bit for the new E-380. Beautiful piece, but I do not consider the E-270 to fit as a 'final purchase' piece of gear while the E-380 well could be.
