I've heard these speakers in a similar size (ceilings were lower though) treated room and while they sounded fantastic, the bass did seem to overpower the room somewhat. I have also heard these speakers in a large room and they just disappeared and sounded sensational!
I'd definitely suggest a demo in your own room which is what I plan on doing over the next couple of months as I too am looking to upgrade from my current 802D2's.
Are you able to get your dealer to set them up at home for you?
