If I was in your shoes, I would have two separate systems. One for stereo and the other for home theatre. I would place the Aida IIs at one end of the room for stereo. I would place the home theatre speakers at the other end of the room for home theatre. The surrounds would have to be carefully positioned to not interfere with the Aida IIs. When switching between stereo and home theatre listening, I would simply swing my chair around.
