Klipschorn is simply a 60+ yr old design, Klipsch wanted to expand their top-shelf offering. Its hard to find adjacent corners and current design trends force speakers to be smaller and out of sight.
If you want to go balls to the wall, find a Klipsch Jubilee owner and have a listen. They MSRP for almost half of the Palladiums and have zero WAF, at 109dB/w/m they are all "Go."
If thats to much of a good thing the Klipsch RF7II pair is killer and the Palladiums are a slightly more refined product.

Have to tell ya, I have a pair of the RF-7II's in my HT and I think they are "so-so." I think the Cornwall III's kill them. In fact, I'm looking at trading them for LaScalaII's or CWIII's in the near future.
Have yet to hear the Jub's, but would LOVE to!
