LCD-XC Bocote and Deckard
My 1991 vintage Sony MDR CD-3000s needed a backup in case I couldn't repair any additional dry rot over that occurred over the years. I can say, without a doubt, that Audeze makes some fine sounding equipment. Build quality is exemplary as well.
Some may prefer Audeze's open-backed offerings but I always have preferred the sound isolation qualities of closed backed or IEMs such as the custom fit Ultimate Ears 18s or the like. I am not sure if the Bocote's I have are part of a limited edition or not but they sure are purty....
