Nice vintage gear! I run WW Solstice 7 8' cables on my NHT W2 Subs on the main system, and you are correct. The bottom end seemed to gain both speed and weight, which required some adjusting to both the NHT X1 crossover, and the modified Behringer DCX2496 controlling the modified tri-amped Magnapan MGIIIa's. I allocated more of the bottom end to the subs from the bass panels, as the blend was easier to match. Highly recommended, and has piqued my interest in other WW upgrades as funds allow. :^)
