Mister Pig - am wondering if you've followed up on this? My Eclipse Silver 7 bi-wire speaker cables are so good that I would be totally gobsmacked (isn't it fun to pretend to be British ) if the 8s proved to be notably better. However, I do find the 7s to be so stiff that am wondering if the 8s would be easier to use.
