I’m currently using my MacBook and xACT to rip cds to FLAC. The flac files then get transfer to a NAS which is accessed via my Sonos. I’m tech savvy enough where building an open source system would be possible, however I haven’t used a PC/Windows in over 10 years so it might take me a bit to get things figured out again.
Ideally the server would be controlled through an iPad app interface without the need for an attached monitor. I assume JRiver/Roon are compatible but I willl need to explore.
In the meantime I’m going to check out the Silenzio as well as schedule a visit with my local Aurender dealer.
