Late this morning UPS delivered an Aperture 2 that I installed in my bedroom audio system. I hung it as shown below at the front-wall center position between my Paradigm Studio 20s, replacing a 2'x4' GIK Alpha 4A panel that had previously occupied that space.
I spent about an hour listening to a variety of familiar classical, jazz, and choral program. My initial takeaway: It decisively improves center-image focus, bass presentation in both heft and definition, soundstage depth, and the rendering of dynamic contrast. Color me blown-away. Which means I'll be doing more "redecorating" of the bedroom walls, a piece or two at a time. So stand by,
Ivan.
