Ivan... Back in 2008 I purchased an MD-108 analog hybrid tuner with tubes in the audio switching stage, directly from Larry Zurowski of Magnum Dynalab. The company offered a completely re-built to like new version of this hybrid model with lifetime $100 deductible warranty for $3K. The MD-108T full-triode tube version is available brand new for $7.5K, also with a lifetime $100 deductible warranty. As for the sound quality of my analog hybrid version, I find the mids and highs to be very life-like with a somewhat laid-back 3D presentation. The lows sound very good to me, but not quite as spectacular in the bass frequencies. Maybe the full-triode version gets more extended bass, but I do enjoy listening to this MD tuner.
