No, the MD-108 with tubes only in the line stage sounds livelier to me than the MD-108T, which has tubes in the output stage too. My MD-108 sounded too forward with a WW Platinum pc. The AQ NRG-Wild pc took care of that forward in your face sound, it's more relaxed now with excellent clarity and realism. Sorry about the confusion.
