Back in the day Dynaudio use to provide all their raw drivers to us DIY'ers so at one time I built a pair of subs using 4 12" 30W100's. I used 2 12" inch woofers per box in six cubic foot sealed boxes each per channel. They did okay but it wasn't long before I determined they were better suited as woofers rather than subwoofers.

I kept those for a long time and even refoamed them all once. The second time came around they needed refoaming I decided it was finally time to upgrade to a sub with higher Xmax. Ones I replaced them with easily put the 30W100's to shame on low bass. But hey I went to a pair of 14inch drivers with higher xmax and power handling so it was expected. The old 30W100 is still a hard driver to beat on bass sub-bass aside.
