Hi James,
1) Yes, you are correct. The output XLR are in parallel, therefore not independently selectable.
2) The BP17 CUBED has two trigger outputs, one of which will output when the unit comes out of mute, the other one which is configurable to output only when a specific INPUT switch is selected. Both trigger outputs require a wired mono 3.5mm phono plug.
The connectors required on the 4BST and BHA1 should have been supplied with the unit.
