Wattage does not indicate heat in BTU in standby and full tilt.
Different amps put out different amount of heat depending on a few things... Krell runs HOT, Lamm warm, Momentum barely warm, Bryston cool... New Krell has cooler standby but can put out 7000 BTU and beyond when the "loud pedal" gets pushed.
