Yes from what I have heard they are a good match. They seem to work nicely together. Got many more hours of breaking in to do. The pre-amp has a tad bright edge, which W4S mentions in their manual and expect it to smooth out nicely after about 100+ hours. They recommend a full 200 hours before the pre-amp settles in.

I already had some Rothwell Attenuators on order so I will probably try them out when they arrive. I find that the volume still goes up rather quickly. At about 12-15 it starts getting loud. At 18-20 it is louder than I will ever listen. The volume goes up to 80. I think the Rothwell may help. I order them from England when I was using the Mc because they are suppose to be excellent, far better than other ones out there.
