I do not know what "export files" are in this context or what you mean by "brought over."

You need to have the files on a permanently connected (by cable or network) drive and have JRiver "import" them into its library by telling it to "import" them from that directory. I put "import" in quotes because no files are moved by JRiver but links and tags are created by JRiver to create its library.

Other considerations are determining that JRiver is set to accept (all) the file formats you use, that the downloaded files are not zipped and that the file drive maintains the same drive letter or IP address it had when JRiver "imported" the files.
