I've had my N801s, N803s, N805s since mid nineties, can't remember which pair came first. In fact my most of the components for 2cnl and my surround are all from mid nineties. Only updates I've done over the years are a oppo DVD player and a cary audio streamer.
The way I look at it, I was very happy back then still very happy with them now.
