I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to post this but here goes.
I've been researching a Luxman 509 or 590 to upgrade one of my systems. I see they are relatively similar in price with the primary difference in the sonic signature.
Not to overly simplify it, is it primarily the difference between 30wpc Class A of the 590 vs. 120wpc of Class AB of the 509?
I'm considering one for driving a pair of TAD ME1s in a 11x12 room with CDs as the music source. It sounds like the 509 is the recommendation unless I want to introduce a tube sound.
It sounds like I can't go wrong with either unit for this environment. Any opinions?
