Hi Beans,
Those are monitor speakers for casual/background listening (e.g. radio or Pandora) while I work or read. Even though the Shindo equipment runs the tubes very gently, I prefer not to use them up if all I am doing is having some low-level background music.
Besides, getting anything done while the main system (Shindo + Tannoy) is playing is next to impossible - it keeps grabbing your attention and you get nothing done
