I have the tweeter ribbons on the inside. Speakers are toed-in slightly and placed about 4 feet away from front wall. Speaker distance from seat is about 12 feet. I also added GIK diffusers behind panels and absortion panels on the side.
I don't remember the break in period as a big factor for me. My system is located in my home office so I just played music for a few weeks while I worked. During the critical listening sessions the system had already reached its steady-state operation. More critical for me was introducing the Pass Labs monoblocks and the WW Silver Eclipse cables.
