Hello Guys,
I have extensive experience with Stradivari speakers so here my advices.
First of all when you get speakers new out of the box they may sound.... disappointing...
I know peoples who sold their top of the line Sonus Fabers before giving them honest break in. I can assure that new Stradivari, Amati or Guarneri will change their character and glow after one-two month of honest break-in.

Second thing is positioning inside the room. I do not know how big your room is, but Strdivari needs some space to breath. If you can give them some space behind them you get really nice depth of soundstage regardless of wide front baffle.
Stradivari are also sensitive for toe-in like Magnepans. You have to experiment.

Tha last think is electronics. I know that here is many MacIntosh gear lovers. If you can try Jadis tube amplifier – the best would be JA200. You will be really surprised. I have heard MANY systems, but Stradivari with and full Jadis stuff made the best sound I have heard.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
