I'm using the Auralic Mini more than a year now and very satisfied - great software and sound. Not using it's DAC and connecting it with USB cable.
If You have external DAC of good quality You no need to invest in "higher" Aries.
The Auralic Mini is unbeatable in a price range, quality and performance (IMHO)
