Craig.......Never a gunny. I have learned through my life that respect is a two way street. If you don't offer it, you have no right to expect it. I like being friendly and respectful of those I associate with. In fact, I prefer it but if someone wants to be an ass I have no problem reflecting their attitude. People find out quick, I will push back.
One of the reasons Marlene and I have managed to enjoy and survive 27 years together and still be happy is we show each other respect. If she says something is important to her, I listen. The same is true for her when I express my concerns. She understands when I say leave something alone that I mean it. She honors that. Honestly, I can not imagine Marlene ever moving my speakers or anything else she knows I placed somewhere for a reason. We not only love one another, we respect one another's wishes. It goes a long way toward creating long term harmony in a relationship.
