Ok I got Recovery installed in 1 minute and I am very impressed. But let me stress that my system is crippled right now: I mailed my speaker cables to TA to be "recalibrated" for my Esoteric A-02 amp. In the meantime, I am using lamp cord. Not kidding. Really not kidding. It was a big hit to the performance of my system...anyone who says speaker wire doesn't do anything really needs to come over for a demo. Lamp cord vs. TA Ref...no contest.
That being said, after putting the Recovery in, It kind of made up for the missing speaker cables! That's got me really shaking my head. Hard to believe.
I have the iFi power supply coming, too.
When I my TA Ref back in circuit, I'll be able to give a much better level headed review, but so far I'm shocked at the difference this thing makes! I'll try putting it in and out of circuit at that time and see what I think it's really doing.
But I will say one thing: at this price, there is no reason to sit on the fence. Just buy it.
