I tend to agree but, then, that flies in the face of those higher-end RCA interconnect cables that have a directionality imprinted on the cable's outer covering. XLRs are not susceptible to this because they are indeed directional (you just can't hook them up backwards unless you break something). Oh woe is me! Happy 4th of July America!
