I don't know about you guys but most of the music CD's (which have been converted to digital Wav or flac format) I have are not stellar in their mix. I have been using Alison Krauss and Union Station (which are nice recordings but the upright bass is a little weak) while moving my 3.7i's around without my subs on. Last night I played "the best of Bill Frisell vol 1 folk songs". I was amazed by the bass that came out of my 3.7i's! So I guess it stands to reason if it isn't on the recording you will not hear it coming out of your speakers. I only have two HD Tracks down loads and I'm not impressed with those either. They sound thin and dry. The GIK corner bass traps have also helped in my room. They have been in about a week now.
