Agreed. A nice thoughtful review with helpful measurements. A feeling that I come away with, however, is that the chosen speakers for audition (Harbeth 30.2 and B&W 702 S2) are likely to be under matched to an MC462. To pick one aspect, one might suspect that both of those speakers will not reveal the degree of imagining and holographic sound staging of which the MC462 is capable. This aspect was not sufficiently addressed or emphasized in the review. Just before the review for the MC462 in the issue is a review for the Wilson Yvettes, which would (as an example) more strongly reveal the strengths of the amplifier and enable making an even stronger case for it.
