IMO you should like the sound from start. Yes, it will probably improve over time but the "Love" has to be present.
After having visited +100 hifi rooms over the years (mostly at the High End Show in Munich) I have learned that personally I can appreciate the music already when I stand in the door opening. I donīt need to sit down in Sweet Spot to know this is to my liking. Yes, it will improve if I do. But IMO either a set up "has it" or "it don't". If the latter is true than no cabel lifters, burn-in time, vibration dampers in the world will be able to correct it. But then again - that is just based on my personal findings.
