Other than writings from Mapleshade and others over the years on various sites, candidly no, this is just as I stated, an opinion. If you have different results, I'm glad to hear it and may look at this again for the future as I've always preferred the look well finished wood over metal. My post was not meant to come off as an authoritative view only an opinion.
