You certainly have a nice system and I don't see anything that seems like a problem from what you've said. I'm stumped. I have the same cables for interconnects and speakers, and they are definitely not bright in my opinion.
If you only experience this with these cables, then perhaps you just don't like what TA does, and you should try something else. I know that might be difficult, sorry.
