Ivan.......Now I'm thinking of buying a S&W Performance Center Shield. Since I already have a 9mm, maybe I'll bring home the .40 cal. I like the ported barrel and slide.
Tonight I used my trigger pull gauge to retest my 9mm Shield's upgraded trigger pull. 6.4 pounds. Very smooth trigger pull with a positive and short reset. Just how I like it.
For your 7-round flat bottom magazine, take a look at the Pearce Grip - grip extension for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield. It replaces the magazine's flat bottom plate with a grip matching contoured finger grip bottom plate. You will like it. It provides a place to park your pinky finger when using the shorter magazine.
