Ivan, it takes
patience to get exactly what you want. The trip to Italy would be to hear the Se17 in the SF demonstration room. I am encouraged the wait is a year because that means the demand is high (relatively) and that you are getting a truly custom speaker yet one that is selling. Take the trip
now, get on the waiting list, and get everything else ready including the room. I am excited and happy for you. I believe it will be worth the wait but you must get started. Don't wind up with some monstrosity.
