From the technical sheets, the on-axis -3db freq response for D3 is 24Hz, D2 was 38Hz.

The sheets cannot be compared. Real world near-field measurements put the 804D3 response around 38Hz at -3dB and extension about 30Hz at -6dB. The 804D2 measures slightly better by about 2Hz.
