I don't feel sorry for them any more than I feel sorry for Cobain, Morrison or anyone else (which is to say not at all) who either overtly or accidentally committed suicide. The tragic nature of this is the loss to their families, children especially (Bennington had 6), friends, fans and the world of music or comedy (Williams, et. al), or art, etc.....

Suicide is the ultimate chickent-sh&* move regardless of whether you do it on purpose or through a lifestyle of stupidity and addiction. The real gutsy move is to stick it out, fight your demons and live life.
