Sorry, been doing some HT consulting and buildout and was off-forum for a few days.



If you store all your data on a NAS, you'll likely have some sort of redundancy built in from some type of RAID level.



If you opt to store all data on Silenzio via one of its SSD options, a RAID1 can be set up, but the price per TB gets a bit nutty - you're better off running the local SSD and using something else on your network or a USB drive to act as a backup.


Silenzio makes for, what is in essence, the top of top tier Roon Cores. It will do all your primary library functions, decoding, transcoding, playback, etc. You'd then control playback via a smartphone or tablet UI with RoonRemote.
