You might be surprised...you just can't generalise. It depends on the brand, their distributorship arrangements, the distributor/dealer arrangements, and many other things.

For example. Halcro amplifiers built in Australia were cheaper to buy in the US than Australia. A high-end brand speaker (which I won't Mention by naMe, but I've provided a clue here-in) built in the US is cheaper to buy in Australia than the US. That is just so completely whacky, but it's true. Trust me on that, I own both brands. Plenty of other examples I could pitch. Point being, price differences between different markets could vary in unexpected directions.
