Interconnect =only difference is the insulation material, WW calls it Cosmiplex II, before it was Cosmiplex I. It is supposed to be better at getting the job done.

Speaker Cable = It's not flat anymore, the rows of conductors are stacked and twisted in what Wireworld calls DNA Helix. Also the insulation material used is Cosmiplex II. Almost forgot, the speaker wire now uses Uni-term interchangeable spades and bananas. No longer one has to send the the cables to WW to have them change the termination.
But I thought they purposely made if flat to have +- closer and reduce inductance ie EMW (electro magnetic wave )loss
