During the first couple weeks of use of a K03X, I got the same message twice (different CDs). I opened drawer, confirmed CD was properly centered, closed drawer, and they each then played. No error messages since then (months and easily a hundred spins) except for that time I put a CD in upside down (clearly user error but I frankly would've preferred that it not say 'no disc' when there most definitely WAS a disc, but maybe something discrete like 'disc inverted' or 'hey butthead, come back when you know what you're doing'. The Japanese are just too polite.)
