Shindo + DeVore is a very popular match. I have a Monbrison + Cortese which I use with Tannoy Sandringhams (90db sensitivity) and I don't feel any straining from the 10W+10W. Most of the time, my volume knob is at 9 o'clock position and it's plenty loud for me.
After many years of transistors I switched to all tubes and I found delicious and addictive sound. After many years of tubes, I switched to Single-Ended tubes and found even more magic.
I am so completely satisfied with my Monbrison + Cortese that I can't even imagine changing my system.
