Okay, good to know and it confirms my request is not foo far off the rails. From a parts/cost value standpoint, I can see how the 6550 tubes are the way to go. From my own curiosity perspective, and wanting to compare to the Inspire Hot Rod stereo amp, I really want to try it if Dennis is good with shipping me an amp with no tubes. Might not be an option.
